Beautiful outdoor furniture that lasts FOREVER!

.

Welcome, glad you stopped by.

This is where I will explain who I am and want I'm about. My name is Steve Wilkerson, age 46. I live in a town called Hanson, KY which isn't a bad place to live. I am a Union Boilermaker by trade for now. I have been in this business for about 25 years. WAY TO LONG!! But anyway, I started woodworking about 9 years ago, every since then I have been hooked!!

I'm a person that loves to work with my hands, and I love a challenge! I also love to work with odd shapes. My wife always ask me "why do you have to make everything with angles"? My reply is "there is no challenge with a 90* angle". And by the way, my wife to whom I admire and love very much, she is a great woman, as well as a great person! She is very supportive of what I do. I have to give her a lot of thanks for that!!

I have built some items and have sold them on E-bay which is a very good deal. I still occasionally put items on there to sale. But anyway, "Tiger Maple" furniture is my passion, I love furniture that was built during the 18th and 19th century. The craftsmanship is amazing and the details are stunning. A lot of the pieces are reproductions, and some are my own design. For know I am sticking to the smaller pieces, but in the future I plan to expand and build "Highboys" Slant Tops and etc...

For the most part the pieces that I build are solid tiger maple with no veneers or plywood are used in the smaller pieces. Of course in case work there is secondary wood, like for draw sides, dust frames etc..But for the most part it is solid Tiger Maple. The wood I use is rated from Good to Great figure. It is not mill run lumber, it is kiln dried and of great quality. Mortise, Tendons & Dovetail construction is used whenever possible which is a whole lot of the time. Well me and my wife would like to thank you for looking and stopping by to look at our website. Hope you liked what you see.

Thanks again for stopping by and hope to do business with you soon!
